The Central Division Skills Development Team is bringing you not one but TWO action-packed, Powderfall-
style mini festivals in March 2025! Join fellow patrollers for a high-energy, hands-on learning experience at two
incredible locations:

Sharpen your skills, explore new disciplines, and connect with patrollers from across the divisional while having
an absolute blast on the slopes!

What’s in Store? For two epic days, you’ll have the freedom to build your own training adventure by selecting
from a variety of sessions that fit your interests and schedule. Whether you're looking to earn certifications, try
something new, fine-tune your techniques, or just enjoy camaraderie with your fellow patrollers, there’s
something for everyone!

Types of Programs for the Festivals:

1. Certifications with credit for NSP Programs: (i.e. Senior OEC Aid Room Module, Instructor Development,
PSIA Level 1, AASI Level 1, recert for Senior TE/IT)
2. Electives with credit for NSP Programs: (i.e. Take part in SES/TES sessions for all abilities, women-specific
clinics, and snowboard specific training)
3. Experiences related to NSP programs: (i.e.  High Angle rescue activity, OEC team event, Risk
Management/Stress Awareness Session, tobogganing and ski/ride on most difficult terrain)
4. Mountain Explore groups – Camaraderie oriented groups (i.e. Alumni, Women's, All Patroller touring)

Cost: $75 per person which includes 2 days of lift tickets, instruction and FUN!
Once you are registered, paid the fee and signed the waiver, you will receive email confirmation with more
information.

Meals All meals are on your own for the event.  We will plan a social time on Saturday late afternoon to meet
and greet.  More information with your confirmation

Lodging – Nubs Nob Event
1. Nubs Nob reservations – Quality Inn in Petoskey Michigan.  Call the hotel front desk directly at 231-
347-3220.  Tell them you are a member of “National Ski Patrol” and are there for an event on March 7-
9, 2025.  The room rate will be $105/night.
2. There are many lodging options in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area to obtain on your own. Check
your favorite app.

2. There are many lodging options in the Wausau area to obtain on your own. Check your favorite app.

1. Registration will be available on the Central Development Ski Patrol website (nspcentral.org).

2. $75 per person fee.  PSIA exam and learning to snowboard will have additional costs.
3. Ski Patrol Festival T Shirts will be available for purchase through the Central Division Gear Store.
Orders placed by February 28th deadline will be delivered to the Festival for you to pick up.

4. For all non-toboggan events, please wear civilian clothes.  All toboggan events you should wear your
patrol gear.  Helmets are required for all outdoor events.
