We have an important National Board Election again this year. Please research the candidates you feel would best represent you and our Division. The Division plans to send out a slate of candidates as a recommendation. Research previous voting records for incumbents, experience, and knowledge; will they represent your voice at the national level? As we write this, the National Organization is set to announce the 14 candidates for the four seats on the NSP National Board of Directors. As you will see, 4 of the 14 are from the Central Division.
While we encourage you to read the resumes and applications for each candidate, we are happy to announce the return of the National Candidate Forums. They will occur on Monday, September 30th, Tuesday, October 8th, and Wednesday, October 16th. All forums will take place at 8 PM Eastern/7 PM Central. All forums will be live-streamed on Zoom. Watch for emails promoting the forums, including links to the Zoom event.

There is an important proposal on the ballot regarding hosts becoming traditional members. Please consider supporting this fair proposal. Hosts pay the same dues as traditional members and deserve representation. They offer so many benefits to the patrol where they serve. The Host program is an excellent recruiting tool as many hosts become patrollers.
